What if I spent $7.00 dollars once a month and received that many leads? In one year I would have received six hundred thousand leads for only $84.00 dollars and by just converting 1% of those specially targeted business opportunity leads into my organization or with sales, it would be safe to say I am freaking going to be rich!

Getting high quality business opportunity leads for your specific niche are not obtainable at that price. The first thing you need to ask yourself is why $7.00 dollars. Many people in marketing will throw a dollar amount of less than ten dollars because people will part with that kind of money easily. The thought process is “only $7.00 dollars… no big deal… I will check it out for that”!

Another thing, how much money do you think that business is making in generating and selling leads by the bushel for that kind of money? Not hardly anything… unless… they are selling those same leads to hundreds of people… maybe even over and over!

If you are planning on beginning an SEO (search engine optimization) campaign to drive business opportunity leads to your web site, here is what you should think about. There are many keyword research tools that can be obtained from the internet, Wordtracker being the choice of the majority. Is it enough though to determine what keyword phrases you should go for. Definitely not!

Here is the deal. Many people look at those search results as being the gospel truth and do not look beyond what is on their monitor. In reality, here is what you should do to drive those business opportunity leads to your site.

Use common sense!

I do not know about you but whenever I am doing a search for something on the internet, I really start out with an overall phrase. To find what I “really” want though, I start defining my keyword phrase with more specifics. In this way (and I know you do this as well), you end up finding what you are looking for. Let us say you are using Google and the overall keyword phrase you are pursuing has a competition of over 100 million. (This can be detected by looking at the upper right hand side of your search window.) Let us say that the keyword phrase has the capacity to get 2000 hits a day.

That is all good and dandy but if you need business opportunity leads that purchase at a higher conversion rate, maybe you are better off going for a long tail keyword phrase that better identifies what you have to offer! Go for a phrase that specifically reaches to that person performing the search.

What are the needs and what is your probability that when that person lands on you web site, they will be highly interested in what you have to offer?

Look at it this way, you can get a higher level type keyword phrase that might have the capacity to direct heavy traffic to your site but maybe only a 2% conversion rate or…you can go after a keyword phrase that has much less competition and will convert at 30% into sales or memberships. You have to do the math from there!

One thing to think about though. If you are going after those more specific keywords, contained within their phrases is the big fish…the mother keyword phrase which is imbedded in the long tail keyword phrase you have chased. So, by going after the keyword phrase with the less competition, it will actually drive your web site up for the more global keyword phrase you were thinking about!

Getting business opportunity leads is what this is all about. It works for me!. Do this and it will work for you!

Taxes – a necessary evil. I would guess more of us would not mind paying if our money was used wisely but that is another article. With a home business designed to make money online, you have a large amounts of legal write offs that will save you money. Saved money is also a form of income.

You will need to check with city and state licensing about legal issues and regulations that you will need to consider. That way you will set up right the first time rather than having to redesign your business or even worse, move your home based business out of your home. Get the facts first. A Google search on state and city licensing requirements might be helpful.

On of the first legal move is to decide if you will run your business as a Sole Proprietorship, Joint, LLC or Corporation. All have benefits to consider. Again checking this with your tax professional or account would be worth the phone call. Also unless you are going to run your business as your legal name, you will need to set up a DBA (doing business as). This is registered with your county. You can have a primary Business name and several DBAs for an unrelated business you are working on. However normally corporate or partnerships do not need to do this.

Other discussions will include to have or not to have employees. If you do have employees than there will be forms for employee paychecks that include taxes withheld. Different areas again have different rules. Keep in contact with your accountant. If your needs fall within a certain criteria you can skip all the employee hassles and go to having independent contractors. But they have certain job oriented rules to work by. Make sure your needs fit the states requirement before going that route.

That is my first point. If you are not on page ONE for a Google Search for you key words, your chances of being found to sell your product, service or business is poor. Very few people go to more than page two and rarely three before putting in new key words. So what is some of the things that will help you drive your web Site or Contact Page where you gather the name, email and other information of someone interested in your services up in the search engines. To make money online you must be found easily.

1. Write articles, blogs, press releases, Ezine articles and get yourself published in every possible way. Content is KING and the more quality content the better.

2. Use your real name, first and last. You want your name to become a household word on the internet.

3. Brand yourself and your business. Like McDonalds have the golden arches as their brand. Even a three year old knows when they see those arches that a hamburger is not far behind. You can do that with a unique banner, symbol or a phrase. Take your time and choose wisely, do not rush the process or worse yet pay hundreds of dollars for someone to do this. First thing on my list as a mentor for online home business to make money online is for goals and intent to be set. Your goals have to be strong enough to work through the challenges that all businesses will have. If your commitment level is ify, then your effort and results will be ify. Write your goals and write a clear statement of them, short and sweet and to the point. Read them every morning and every evening. It will keep you clear on why you are doing your work. Starting a home business is not easy but it is worth every moment of it. You are working towards freedom of time and income.

Set specific time for those pesky tasks that do not seem to be about making money in your home business but have to be done by you or someone. Items like paperwork, filing, invoicing, banking and bills payment. Things like errands and such; can someone else do it for you? You might set this to do once a week or as often as needed but if your office is backing up with paper work you need help. Organization is a sign of success.

Do those things first in the day that you find most unpleasant, for some that might be to make the phone calls or return emails. Whatever it is, get it out of the way and get on with your day. Learn the procrastination is your enemy.

Learn – listen to me here – Learn to say NO! When you have a home business to make money online, people and yes, even family will have a very difficult time believing you really are at work, I mean, after all you are at home. This is one of the most difficult issues to get settled. You cannot train them until you train yourself. When you are at work you cannot be disturbed. If you have family, be sure and plan in family time and time with children. When starting a home business do not let your home business get to the point to where you are successful but lose your family in the process. My family knows that when my office door is shut, they cannot come in or even knock unless the house is on fire or there is blood to be dealt with. I am not being silly here. If you do not treat your business with the utmost of respect, how can you expect them to do so?

Using a good Day Timer system, each evening set you plans for the next day in detail, who needs to be called and include their phone number. List activities to be completed or worked on. Set aside time for all the things you need to do each day as well as specific to that day. Some tasks will have many steps so decide in what order they need addressed. The reason for doing it at night before going to bed is that your mind will process it while you sleep and see it as a Completed task.

Another somewhat difficult task is to decide the importance of any task. Basically learn the difference between tasks that need doing but are they also ones that make you money? Learn the art of delegation. Expect the unexpected. Sometimes things just happen that are beyond your control. Learn to have a good belly laugh at the ridicules. It will help relieve tension.

Develop family cooperation, not competition. Work with a plan and plan to work. No home business is easy, and a road to success overnight. Prepare yourself to take your business all the way. Never quit. Never quit learning. Take time for family, for fun and your spiritual life. Health is also an issue. Are you taking excellent care of your body and mind? If not, you are doing yourself a disservice. Keep track of your thoughts. Read and study positive materials and keep up with the trainings for your business. Keep your work ethics impeccable. Work with a mentor if needed.

Is Your Computer Friend or Foe as You Make Money Online - 48

Sometimes it feels like your compter is a wild unknown beast and you need to tame it to make money online.

Learning to use the computer for your home business to make money online is hard enough but very doable if you are willing to take some time to study and learn a new skill. It helps to have a good mentor and work with a company that has quality training to bring you into the computer generation.

Some tips to consider in your setup:

Make sure your workstation for your home business is suited for your body. Google for ergonomics for PC will bring you a wealth of information on how to set up the chair, desk, etc. For example: Screen should be tilted back about 10% to 20% and placed 20 to 40 inches from your eyes. Lean your monitor back slightly and adjust for glare. Your back should be straight and shoulders comfortable, wrists at a flat level. If you have a window, it should be at the side of the computer, not above or behind. Fix the table at 25 to 29 inches high. Wrists flat and support for your arms, NO twisting or leaning to reach for things, especially if repetitive. Learning to make money online also means taking care of your body. Now that is just for how to sit. But sitting can be what we, who work a computer do with a home business, and we do a bit too much of. Get a couple of times, actually I use three. I have an old fashioned kitchen timer that turns the dial up to one hour. I labeled it STRETCH and I give it a spin up to one hour. When it goes off, I reset for another hour and stand up, do some slow stretches, a few yoga positions remembering my shoulders and neck. Touch those old toes and then back to work. The second timer is labeled DRINK to remind me to eat (healthy not junk) and drink fluids (water, tea, juices, etc.), it is so easy to not take good care of myself when I get engrossed with a project – easy to stick my head up, see it’s 2:30 pm and realized I’ve not gotten out of my chair or had breakfast or fluids. NOT a good long term plan.

Having a home based business designed to make money online is great, 2 minute commute to anywhere in my home. Love it but I can forget when the next conference call, webcast or some task needs done so I use a 3rd time and label it TO DO? These three trainers have really helped me. I always keep my water bottle there at the computer and have made a point of not turning into a coffee hound. A little dish of almonds and pumpkin seeds for my brain and I’m good to go. With the solid income opportunity of my home based busyiness, well, it really works for me. Hope it does for you too.

We are blessed to be living in the time when more people are finding it advantages to have a home businesss. Most often that means some type of computer work, and with that it’s easy to develop habits that are not ideal for our body; back, neck, shoulder and wrists. Over 99% of employers in the U.S. are small businesses, and there are more than 15.6 million self employed (U.S. Small Business Administration, 2005). We are a nation built on home business it is just now they can add learning to make money online.

Over the last 25+ years in one way or another, I’ve been mentoring people that are going into a home based business. There are some common mistakes I’ve observed over the years. This is true of brick and morter businesses and make money online business. One is working Capital and expectations.

Each person looking for a home business to make money and wanting to begin commonly underestimate what they need to not only start their business or perhaps you are already in a home based business, and underestimated what you would need.

Capitalization is a key factor.

It is important to take pen to paper and list all the start up cost, then monthly business maintenance costs, having a savings account that you plan on NOT using so it will be there when you do need it.

BTW – What income are you or your family going to live on while you build your expected business, yes the one with the income opportunity that will provide what you desire for your goals?

Since I work primarily with home business people who want to make money online, I will approach in this short article some common things people overlook.

One is Computer Expenses.

Purchase of 2 computers, one at least must be a lap top that can multi task easily.

What programs do you need? Who will handle repair and maintain your PC’s. Expect problems, it’s a part of reality of a eBiz. Prepare that into your budget as well as equipment.

You’ll need a good laser printer (much cheaper to operate than the color printers with ink cartridges)

Plan for phone systems, answering service, fax, 1-800 service and cell phone. These need to be for the business only, not for the home and business or you will have IRS challenges.

The amount of money needed to successfully launch a new enterprise is commonly underestimated, largely because a business and/or product launch takes longer and cost more than anticipated. One should estimate how much capital will be needed for the start-up effort, and then perhaps double it.

The Second Issue

Set yourself up as a REAL business, get a license and I suggest even a home based business become an LLC.

Once that is done open a checking account and get any credit or credit cards in the Biz LLC name. That protects your family assets and business as well.

A wise entrepreneur will plan ahead for such activities and be prepared with factoring the unknown. I always suggest being on the safe side, preparing to not take any profits out of your business for two years.

Now I hear YIKES, no way … that is too long to wait. Well, it is true that many times people can get into a excellent home biz to make money online with a good team and a business plan well under way, and make that income opportunity a reality in a few months. But, keep a clear head and get your business on solid ground, with a substantial amount in savings BEFORE you start spending your new found capital.

Have a Pain in the Neck with Your Home Business to Make Money Online - 47

Times have changed. Now the vast majority of Workman Comp claims are due to computer related injuries. The long hours of repetitive motion can be very damaging. It is important to take the time to set your work space up to be at maximum benefit for your bodies needs. Trust me, you will find the time, and perhaps a small investment, more than worth it. What use is it to make money online and due damage, sometime permanent to your wrists, shoulders, back or neck? None!

Are you familiar with the term ergonomics? It is the term used to describe arranging your workspace so you can work at your tasks efficiently and safely. You might not notice little problems showing up at first, but you will as the hours mount up. Doctors note that the estimation of 70 percent of all of us will be plagued by neck pain in our lives. And computers have much to do with those figures.

It is important to keep your back in a comfortable neutral straight position with your shoulders relaxed, never thrusted forward as it caves in your chest. Also watch that you do not tilt to one side. Keep your head balanced straight above the spine as much as possible. When I sit at the PC for very long I find myself slumping forward and have to remind myself to resume that neutral position.

You should not have to move your head up and down, trying to get just the right angle for your computer screen. If you need them, invest in computer glasses that are measured to be just the distance between where you sit and the PC screen at just the right angle. This is especially important if you normally wear bifocals.

Get a good chair is a must, one that can be sat at a height just right for you. As to your feet, they should sit comfortably on the floor although my husband made me a slightly slanted board and that proved to be more natural and comfortable. You may have to do your own experimentation. If you intend to make money online, you will be spending a lot of hours in that chair. Some people like a small pillow behind the small of their back. Mine is built in but I added a sheep skin cushion and a sheepskin back. Very comfortable but I spend more time there than in bed so it needs to be.

As to your monitor, having one that can be tilted, lowered or raised is important. The screen needs to be directly in front of you. If you are using a lap top these tasks are more difficult but not less important. As you work long hours to make money be sure to check yourself often and make sure you are not shrugging your shoulders. It is so easy to get lost in your project and forget. But that will bite you sooner or later.

Another problem is that of sitting for hours doing repetitive work. Get a kitchen 1 hour timer. Set it and when it goes off get up, walk around and do a few stretches, touch those toes. It’s a good time to get a glass of water and a snack (protein will serve you better than sugar highs that crash later). Then set the timer for one hour again. You will probably find that the one hour just flies by.

If your computer job also requires spending a lot of time on the telephone, there are a few things to consider. Do not lean over your head to your shoulder to hold the phone, but get a good head set to free up your hands. They are inexpensive and highly useful.

Time is now to review your home office where you work for hours to make money online. If you are not in pain, great! But setting theses simple ergonomic principles in place will prevent future problems. And please, do not forget about the stretching exercises. Your body will thank you year after year.

Always consult with your physician or naturopath.

Unfortunately scams have happened for years taking the money; billions of dollars for their own profit, not the Reps. Do your research by watching for warning signs. How to decide? Jobs have been a part of the plan of our fathers and their fathers before them. I clearly remember my father and grandfather telling me to get a good job and stay with the same company. If I take good care of them, then they will take care of me and my family. Well, we have seen how that system designed to make money has broken down. A job today is only as good as the day you work it for you do not have any control or guarantee of what tomorrow brings.

Taking a look at a home based business designed to make money online gives you several areas to consider. Do you really want to be your own boss and your best employee all wrapped into one? Are you considering retiring soon or the possibility of being downsized or laid off? It does not really matter if you sell products or services. You need to drive a large number of people to see your site and it is commonly said that people need exposure 7 times before they will buy, invest or join.

So how do you choose, there are so many ways. Such as: buying advertising in various forms or even AdWords, Press Releases, Forums, Social Networking, Blogging, Pod Casting and Conference Room Presentations, Ezine Advertising, Trade Shows and Fairs, Traffic Exchanges, Direct Mail and letters sent to friends Announcing your New Business just to name a few. To make money online you will need to be successful in several marketing plans.

As an Internet Business Mentor I would suggest you lay out a written plan. Start with one marketing tool and get it working well before starting on your second. I would usually suggest starting with blogging as it is easy to learn and leads to learning other skills that will be very helpful. I like to have those new to the arena of blogging to start with blogger.com as it is free and the features are very easy to use. It does not require you to use html code although as you progress on your learning curve and start improving your skills, you can use for example Edit Plus which is an html editor. Then bring it into blogger.com in html code. It will give you much more flexibility. You will also be learning as you advance about RSS feeds and even how to connect blogs together to give them more power to rise in the Google Search Engines.

Using a tracking code will help you follow your results and see where you are ranking with Google Search and how many hits you are getting, who is revisiting and other valuable marketing information. Making money online requires you to receive a ecommerce education not only in marketing techniques but also in ever advancing computer technology.

Use Google Search and research Blogging. Read many blogs, looking at what catches your eye, what you stop to read and what you just click past. For example the top ten websites have white backgrounds and arial or verdana script. Don’t overload with flash and sizzle, bright colors or black backgrounds as you will lose readers. You will have 3 to 5 seconds at most to catch someones eye to read your blog or article.

Remember CONTENT is King, so write things that are relative to your topic and are of value even if the reader never does business with you. Unfortunately all too many businesses fail within the first five years after business start up. Sometimes it is from foolish start up plans which really mean lack of research or working with the new bred of flim flam man. Sometimes it could simply be bad luck or timing. But whatever the reason it is important for people to work smart when planning a business to make money online. Referrals have been and always will be a crucial vital part of your business plan. How to and where do they come from?

First Rule – NEVER buy leads, the only one making money when you do that is the person selling those leads. Leads are your personal and private information. You would not want your information sold so do not do that to someone else. There are other options for getting leads that are highly professional and productive. And to make money online you will need an unending number of leads and referals.

In sales, any type of sales, it has always been best to get referrals because through them you have the highest possibility of a new sale. So developing and maintain a good referral system is essential. When you work with any customer, when you are done, take the BIG step and ask: Who do you know who might benefit from [whatever your business or service is]. As a trainer I noticed for most people in business to get over the hoop of asking for referrals was a major point of profit. So just get over it and ask! If you do not ask, the answer was NO so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Keep clean professional business cards handy. I also like to occasionally use the business card but on a refrigerator magnet as it tend to hang around for the original client to call you back or give your name and contact information to others. When you are in business to make money online, people will often keep your information in their favorites so you will need to decide when it is worth the advertising to send a refrigerator magnet business card. I do that when they place their first or second order. However each business is different.

You must feel you are worthy of the receiving referrals, that you did a good job and that your products or service are of real value. Step up to the plate and ask. In a home business designed to make money online, just as in a city business, of course, there is a need to bring people to know about what ever product or service you provide. As a business mentor, one suggestion – is to find 3 to 5 reach out methods for people to find you and your services.

One of many choices can be to work with forums or message boards. They are a discussion site located on the web and can be on any topic. Normally anyone can visit the site to view the articles but to post you normally need to be a member, which consists simply of registering.

Members can either add to an existing discussion or they can start a new posting conversation. This is an excellent way for the home business owner to get their name out on the net. What you are working towards is getting yourself branded.

For some Social Networking is a fun what to make online friends and chat back and forth on all types of topics and interest. However in the home business arena to make money online, it is one of the hottest ways to not only make relationships with people that you might learn from or may at some point come into your business BUT it is a way of driving your Web sites and Blogs up in the Search Engines. Most people do not recognize the power behind social network as a SEO tool.

It is always about advertising and driving people to your site. In a home business, of course, there is a need to bring people to know about what ever product or service you provide. Keep your brain intact and remember what you twitter on is giving a picture of who you are. That is key as people buy from people, not because of some flashy add. Let people get to really know you. Make very sure to use a good photo of you in your profile. Fill in your profile and take advantage of it. It can always be adjusted as you grow in the social network arena.

Now start making friends. As you follow and comment to people. Click on their picture and then ask their friends to be friends with you. This is common in almost all social networking. In time you should have a good following if you have interesting content and you take a little time each day to comment back to a few people. I often set a timer while doing this so I don’t get lost and forget my daily plans.

Once you get this working for you, then open another social network group and not only repeat same process but now link Twitter to the 2nd one. As you add social networks, link them all together. As you update one, Twitter for example automatically updates my Facebook. Doing this you might think just saves you time. But it does a lot more.

It increases your status on Google Search. Google for example Social Netowrking and it becomes a very powerful SEO tool. Easy for home business owner to start and no money needed. Good value for time spent and results although the results do not come fast. You have to create relationships first. Why not, there are lots of benefits from working at home. I for one love to just walk down the hall for my 2 minute commute, sometimes with fuzzy slippers or other times out on the road in our motor home, just open the door and cozy up under a tree. Well, it works for me and my husband. I’m tired of having a JOB where I had to get dressed up and rush off, fighting traffic, dropping kids at daycare when they are still half asleep. I always had to toe the line when the next promotion would be to take the bosses job. I am ready to make money online and I want it Now!

One area I like is that as a baby boomer we are often very concerned to stay physically active, to take care of our bodies and health and keep our minds sharp. It has been suggested that learning a foreign language or computer skills can keep the mind sharp much longer as we mature. Well I learned Spanish and traveled as far from tourists as possible for many months. Then came back to tackle the internet world and have a work at home business. It is a wonderful challenge every day, learning new skills and moving my internet business forward to make money online. There are so many ways to work at home and to make money online has never been easier. The information age came on with a wave of power and possibilities; then the computer revolution with the advent of the Personal PC brought those possibilities into your home. Actually it is the youth of today which understand almost with an instinct born as their birth right how to twist and twirl the personal PC. Those of us, especially baby boomers, are working at learning what comes natural to those of younger years.

Things are changing fast in the downward spiral of economic collapse. The Eco System is affected and we are standing on shifting sands. One area that is increasing is the ability to make money onlineand I love it because working from home, keeps me and others off the freeways which is eco friendly.

Have you been looking at our economy and thinking about what can you do to stabilize your income? Some folks have a straight job with commute; some work more than one job because income is not adequate. Do you know someone who has lost their job, been cut back, lost their retirement or investments or even their home? Well, I do and I know a lot of them. That is where a home business comes in but only of value if it is a solid enough to make money online. Many foks do a Google Searches for Home Business and are flooded with things to look at. It is overwhelming. Let us look at the situation.

So what are you going to do about it? Did you know that sales on the internet are climbing while sales in stores are falling? Well over 50% of all people purchase products or services thorough internet. That is more even than it seems, as still in this age, many people do not even have computers. So let us assume you are interested in more income and a more secure financial base. What do you look for in a home business to make money online?

Home business on the internet can be shaky if you do not respect the following golden rules:

1 - What training is being offered by the company? Take a look at it. Some have all the training in the same company and some have partnered with outstanding training companies. Think of the Team concept where people help each other. Some companies make a lot of their profit selling you training programs. Red Flag!

Despite the economy, are people still using these products on a daily basis? Some of the hottest areas are health, wellness, and green concepts. Look for winners with a BIG name, do not be afraid that has already been out there and been sold for a long time. That is important, you want that. Also, what is their REORDER rate? It should be high and they need a long track record to show that to you.

3 - How long has the company been in business and what is their reputation? Some people make a big mistake about jumping into the newest and greatest. WRONG – the new company has no market visibility and track record. They have not had time in the Beta Version to work out the bugs. Think about it this way, if your goal was to sell cheep junk food (ugh) would you rather own a Golden Arches or a no name no one has ever heard of junk food joint? I think you see the point.

4 - What is their plan for options of ways you will be able to work your business? We are not all made from the same mold and so variations need to be available. Also, will they be able and WILLING to help you. Is this a team effort OR are you on your own; sink or swim concept? Sadly, way too many companies make their income by getting you in and once you have invested into your business then cut you loose while they look for the next person.

5 - Can they lay out with you a plan to develop your home based business AND show you what investment you need to make, at what time table, for you to be successful? You do not want to be caught by surprise! What is the financial pay plan? That is a part of developing your plan to make money online.

6 - Are they willing to give you several easy ways to communicate with them? They need to be truly available or you can find yourself blowing in the wind. And do they communicate with you in a way that is comfortable? Do they listen to YOU? Or is it hype and razzle? I like solid people with both feet on the ground and some good experience behind their belt.

Following these guide lines will take you a long ways toward a solid success in your web home business and working steadily you can make money online. Tips for Home Business and How to Make Money Online – 22

Have you been thinking now, if not, before, it is high time to get a home based business? Or are you in a home business and can use a few tips of the trade? Many people, actually droves of people are seeking to escape the downfalls and insecurity of work at a traditional JOB. Many are tired of ceilings on their income, unsecure closures or layoffs, cut backs on medical coverage and collapse of retirement plans. Yes it is time to get a 2nd income going from home and learn to make money online. Actually over 50% of all Americans buy products or services on line. You might as well get a piece of that substantial and growing pie.

You might think I’ll talk on Business matters, how to choose, where to get your training and support but instead I’d like to address the absolutely critical self care. It is so easy to get completely caught up in work, that care of your health, family, and friends and for many their spiritual life take such a back seat that all can be lost. No matter what your business, you cannot make money online and sustain it if you lose health, family, friends and your spiritual life. BALANCE is key.

Some of these suggestions are quite personal but I feel necessary. Take what fits for you and let the rest go. First, how your start your day, so it goes. It is time to evaluate your morning routine. If it is dash out of bed, grab coffee, perhaps remember to hug the wife or husband and kids, and head for your 2 minute commute to your office and lock the door – well – bad idea.

Get up before others in your family and set a daily routine. I have a chair with a small alter area, candle and flowers. Very simple. Morning prayers are critical (if not for your beliefs then some motivational material), follow with meditation for 15 to 20 minutes or more, perhaps some journaling (if you don’t know where to start get the Artists Way – just the book, not the work book, that will wake you up to the possibilities of life). Then some exercise, I’ve chosen yoga in the am and treadmill in afternoon when I take a computer break. A good brisk 15 minutes can wake me up and energize me to keep going. Don’t forget a good healthy breakfast following your morning plan. To make money online you must take good care of yourself.

Now is the time to check the day timer, making sure you have a very good system, and plan your day (ideally this should be done the night before). Be sure and put in time marked for those things that can fall into the never get done file. Phone calls and emails t return. Checking your leads that came in and responding. Helping to touch base with team mates to nurture them and help them move forward. Working all alone is very difficult; working with a Team consciousness is so important and leads to a more probable success.

Get a kitchen time, one of those that go up to ONE hour. Set it and when it goes off, get up, walk around, do some stretching and drink some water. Perhaps step outside even if it is for only a few moments. It will refresh your mind and help with not damaging your writs, neck and back. Remember Stretch. That is only one reason I love a gentle yoga practice. I can also do it is little pieces when my timer goes off.

Set up your office to be conducive to work, both functionally and emotionally. Clutter is a energy killer! Keep it clean and highly organized. Work with a clear plan and if you need help with organization in your office it is well worth hiring a professional organizer. What I Learned - Make Money Online – 21

Often Believed - Lies, scoundrels, swindler and thieves. To make money online, well, just what does it take?

I started my first business in 1st grade buying penny candy and selling it for a nickel at school and it was a big success, at least with the kids. I guess I am dating myself here but to say I have been in business for myself for 54 years is true. Of course things changed along the way. When the school shut me down I went on to bigger and better things. Set up kids to take their wagons collecting glass pop bottles, house cleaning service, gardening (weeding) service, babysitting, cleaning fish and more. Where ever I could find a way to be in business and if possible hire (under the table of course) other class mates to work for me, well, I did it. We did not have personal PCs back all the way through college but if they had I am sure I would have had a business to make money online. That had to come later.

Along the way as a budding entrepreneur I learned a few things that have been great lessons. Beginning my business career rather naively believing everyone told the truth when they said they would get me started, set up to run a business, teach me what I needed to grow or even pay me on time for my services rendered, well, wrong! That doesn’t always follow true. I do not ever want to become cynical but I am a lot wiser in doing my research before leaping into a business. I was always willing to work but I expected to make money.

I think the first one was a long gone MLM company called SWIPE cleaning products. (Mom may still have some under the kitchen sink; she always was my best customer). But although we saw some amazing demonstrations, when I went to use the products they never seemed to work as well as demonstrated. So stopped that one right away and switched to another company that has too long gone by the way side. It was one company or one great opportunity after another, all doomed to fail because the system was set up for only those that got in at the beginning or products were not what they appeared to be. Poor compensation and team building plans ran the show.

The one company that really turned me around to start sniffing out the truth had a slick system. The BIG TEAM LEADERs holding up very large checks each month at the meetings which they announced was THEIR paycheck. Only later did I learn as a Big Wig myself that it was also cut into pieces and passed down line. Very deceiving! Obviously I blew the whistle and quit. BTW did you know that no one likes a whistle blower, oh well ….

Dreams Dashed again and again. That really rocked my world in to wondering if any of the hopes and dreams offered was real. But by now I had become a professional trainer and could gather hundreds of people into a team, take them across the country to grand dazzling rallies, teach them to make money and how to balance a family life so they didn’t lose their families along the way to success. I was making good money then but too many people just were now willing to work that hard. And I saw good families going down the drain. That happens more often than you would think. Balance and Reality are key to any type of business wanting to make money online or street store shops.

Well, the lessons have been hard and costly …. But I learned something with every mistake and lesson that came with it. You never fail unless you QUIT or Do not learn a valuable lesson. I learned to first always look at myself and what part I played in the business lesson so as not to go through life blaming everyone but myself. That in its self was a very valuable lesson.

When Personal PCs came on to the playing field and the internet was born, I learned how to search and search even deeper into what was really being offered. The policies and procedures and what style of marketing was expected. To make money online was now top on my list. I was more than ready to quit talking to every moving body with in arms length and I loved working from home.

I learned how to research a company and find a leader and the team I wanted to align with. I also learned how to find the tools for the web/internet training needed. I learned how to tell who was a team player and who was in to take me for a ride. I found that I wanted to help other not have to go through the years and financial loss, to help them to be successful. I guess I decided to be kind of like the robin hood of network marketing.

Most people dream of freedom from their JOB, the stress and pressure of competing with others for promotions and then there is the ever loving commute. Of course you have thought of going into business for yourself; possibly to make money online? Sure, we all have at one time or another. But what is needed and why should you start your own home business? Who will really work and who will give up when the going gets tough? I've found that there is a central truth. Read on, where are you in this three step process?

Do You think you have it? What is it you need to make money online successfully in a home business?

Most business mentors say there must be a passion;` a true unshakable passion for what and why you are building a home business. It is said people work for any or all of three reasons.

MONEY is FIRST: Have you ever dreamed of living on the high side and what it can buy in the way of things and lifestyle. If that is the only motivation, my experience has shown me these folks can quickly jump form one thing to the next snazzy bell ringing business that pops up. They want $$$ and are not usually the best folks to work with, but if that is what gets them started, I always hope they will find a deeper and more meaningful reason to work. Balance in All things, Yes I too work for money, got bills to pay and goals like everyone else, but never would I let my desire for money over ride the need of the people I work with or the team I’m on. There is a difference, subtle but different. Money is never a bad thing, only how you perceive it, what you do to get it as well as what you do with it. That concept is something to ponder on.

RECOGNATION is SECOND: It is absolutly amazing what people will do for Recognation. This is when someone will work so hard to get that at-a-boy, next promotion or ranking, bigger desk, accolades from the audience at the company convention, Titles for adding to your name and more. Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with working hard and being competitive to a point. People that are not at all competitive rarely get anywhere; at least be competitive with your personal best. Never step on someone back to reach that goal, stand on your own two feet and let your work stand for what you did with integrity. Always remember to pass recognition to the people from your family, office or team as no one gets there alone. And alone you can be when you forget to respect and recognize the team that is working with you.

A CAUSE is THIRD: Now you are hitting the mark. Where is the passion, something your really believe in. This is something you not only truly believe in but are willing to stand up and say so. It drives them and brings purpose to their lives (along with many other things that bring purpose; of course like family, etc.) It could be a product or service that you feel strongly, very strongly is in the best interest of people, it can be intangible like bringing information and/or product to the awareness of the public, it could be unethical business practice for example you see and know of on the internet (that is one of mine) and wanting and willing to do something about it. Perhaps you want to bring better schooling to children or care of our elderly, help and information on medical care, this list is truly endless. But a Cause you will never stop working for. And if it is at the root of your business, then recognition and money will follow.

Old saying but true, help enough people get what they want and need and in turn you will get your needs met. That goes a long ways to make money online with a home business. Talk to currant business owners or representatives. Interview them just as much as they should be interviewing you. If a company wants you and in not asking about your background and if this would be suitable, then I’d be concerned. Make Money Online for Press Release Tips - 18

First thing is to be clear about what you are really writing about. Keep that in your mind as you work through the process so you do not fall of track. Content is the most important part of your press release, remember the phrase and ‘content is King’. Always use your press release to inform, never to sell. A well written press release will answer all the “W” questions (who, what, when, where and why). That should be ringing some bells from school days? When you provide the media with good content that follows the principles of good writing, you will get circulated around the web. There are thousands of people wanting to make money online so you should not have any problem coming up with relevant content.

Check in with yourself as you develop your plan. Is this content ‘newsworthy’? If your article starts to sound like a commercial, stop, and rewrite. Remember you are writing for the media. You want it to be strong enough and of interest enough that the media will then pick it up and springboard it into a larger feature. Sometimes your news will not be printed in entirety but it will get exposure and that is your purpose.

Not everything you may be excited about is news so stop and think, why would someone want to read this? Giving examples of how your company or products would solve solutions is to show a benefit. Real life examples would be helpful when possible. Can you show any causes and effect in your writing?

What is your angle in the article? Is it timely or old and stale news? You will need a good news hook to catch a journalist attention. Again, remember first you are writing for the Media. Do not use jargon or hype. That just does not fly with the media. Use correct grammar and punctuation. I suggest you use a word processor first s you can use all the tools included. Never use all CAPS – use mixed caps or it will be totally ignored as a serious writer.

Lastly remember to do a summary paragraph. Suggest only a one paragraph to recap your points. Never include your email in the body of the release as spiders are constantly going through the net and you will be harvested for spammers. Provide e-mail and other personal information only in the area provided. To make money online it would be wise to do your home work and use Google Search for press releases. You’ll find many articles on how to write for your highest odds of success. Take your time, write, read, rewrite and read again until you get it right. How often I hear; “I can’t write, I’ve no talent for that or I’ve run out of things to write about.” Hogwash, anyone can learn to write if they are willing to spend some time and practice. To get your name out there on the internet you need to do a lot of writing, or I guess to be more accurate, it is one of the key ways to get your name known. To make money online you must brand your name and get a huge amount of quality content published.

Creativity is created, some yes can write easier and more creatively than others but it is a skill that can be learned. First take some time and Google whatever topics you would be writing on, that is your niche, and see what catches your eye. Look for topics to make money online and make notes as well, they will help you in the future. Remember an article, blog or web has only 3 to 5 seconds to catch someone’s attention or they click on. So what catches your attention? Look at fonts, colors, topics, headers and style. In the end, content is king.

It is important to keep up with the trends so you will always be reading and I suggest Google Search for whatever topic you are working with. Look at forums, press releases, blogs, webs and book mark those that interest you so you can go back to them for the latest trend. The world is constantly changing so don’t become stale.

It is best to be yourself and not try to mimic someone elses writing styles. It makes you feel more real, more human. People can feel when you are writing like a robot. Also being you will allow your creative side to emerge as you do more and more writing. I suggest starting with blogging, it is good practice.

It will make your job much easier and more enjoyable if you’ve a niche that is something you really care about. Trying to write about some dry topic you could care less about takes and excellent writer to be successful. Let that go to the professionals.

The mind goes a bit blank after writing for long periods. I have a kitchen timer, set it for one hour and when it rings, I get up, stretch, do a few yoga positions or walk out to the garden, get some water and fruit, or whatever to break up the body and mind blocking up. When I come back to my PC, my mind is fresh and ready to go again.

Sometimes I have a general idea but not sure how to approach it. That can be tough. So I just start writing, somewhat like having a conversation, to get the flow going. I can always go back and reword, delete or add to it. The internet is a large and complicated business to get into and you will need help in bringing yourself up speed. You can either use the help of others or you can go it alone (that is the expensive way, I know from experience).

Having a home business to take advantage of the internet industry and make money online, in building residual income; being able to work from home or from your favorite internet café anywhere in the world has some definite benefits. It is wise to not put all your eggs in one basket as they say, BUT, go slow, you will need 3 to 5 reach out methods firmly in place and successful (that means money in Your Pocket) before you start spinning another set of plates.

Brain Storm to make Make Money Online 13

If you’ve landed on this page you are probably looking for some way to make money online. So far what ways have you used to decide what you want and what will work. Again today someone told me they had bought a lot of books and programs on the internet to learn to make money online. Well, probably the only one making money is the one selling the ebooks or information. Sad to say, a lot of people lose all their start up money before they start up.

But what choices do you need to make? Are you just starting your search or perhaps you’ve been kicking some ideas around already. And they there are those that already jumped into one or more things without doing the needed research. As a web business mentor, if you asked me, I’d say chock it up to lessons well learned, that is if you looked at what worked and what didn’t in your choice and with the process you’re in. The key is we all learn lessons as we go on the journey, learning to make money online. It is NOT a rick quick scheme, and anyone trying to sell you on such things, don’t walk – RUN, because it just doesn’t work that way. The only one making the money is them when they get your investment.

What to do, just how do you make major decisions on home based businesses? How do you start in the process of making a good choice?

Brainstorming for Ideas

Although there is nothing new under the sun, there still are so many possibilities, literally thousands of them on the internet for you to choose from or even if you have something you believe is original. The choices you make along this start up path are huge. So good old fashion brain storming either with family, a friend or even just with yourself is a critical first step. Keep an open mind when brainstorming. NO idea should be rejected as you start. To make money online you must be willing to go through each step and learn as you go. Just the process of jotting down ideas will spark other ideas, so do not sensor anything at this point. If it pops into anyone’s head, write it down. Ideas are not good or bad, just an idea, a spark!

Get ready to Journal. Take a note book and start making a list – depending on what stage you are in finding an internet home business. Perhaps you are at the point to Brain Storm on: what interests do you have that might work into a work from home theme (bowling, love of computers, writing, gardening, health and wellness, teaching, auto refurbishing, etc.) List as many things as you can, go until the well is dry.

Do you do your best thinking or inspiration in the morning or evening? I suggest you do this in steps, so take a good break every little bit to stay fresh. This process of brainstorming is something all successful people do. It just is a Business Step that you will use over and over again through the years.

Now take a look at the list with an open mind and cross off any that you really don’t have any ‘juice’ for. For example I’m a trainer and LOVE computers so that was a hot match for me. Writing home cook books would not be a good fit.

If you haven’t done so already, Google: Google tool bar and up comes Install Google Tool Bar, also choose once you have it installed the extra feature for page rank. This will be important later. Keep Google happy and they will keep you happy. All the search tools work from Goggles lead so just work with that one and you have covered your bases. Later learn all about all the features Google offers but that is for another day.

This is a good time to use Google Search and just put in the key Word of what you are interested in. Spend about an hour on each subject, just looking at sites and business that are out there on say “health and wellness” or whatever you have. Do this for several areas of interest and then in a note book jot down what things you notice you like or that turn you off of a site or even a business in general. Normally a designer knows a page has at max 5 seconds to catch your interest or you move on.

This part should take a few days if you have several ideas to start looking at. Now weed your list down farther. It may sound like an old cliché but sleep on it. Let your subconscious mull some of these things you’ve looked at and seen roll around. Many an inspiration came for a good night’s sleep.

Next step is to look at several options and jot down a list of what is important to you. For example:

Why are you looking for a internet home business or franchise? This reason must be strong enough to carry you through the good times and those times that are challenging. Jumping from business to business can be the kiss of death and very costly not just in money but in fulfilling your hopes and dreams.

Are you looking for something to supplement family income or to turn into a full time business (what ever full time means to you).

How many consistent hours per week are you going to work? You have to be your best boss and your best employee all in one?

How much money are you going to invest into your business, not just start up costs but enough to carry you for at least a year before seeing any return? WHAT you say, that’s not what the Web Pages said that I looked at. Well, some do make money much faster BUT what if you don’t. Can you with stand a slower start and learning curve if it is needed or would you have to give up in two months? Think hard on this. Consider what credit you have access to just like any REAL business because if you are to succeed to make money online, you must be a realist.

A big decision is if you will or will not carry inventory. As a Web Business Mentor I strongly suggest NO – it keeps you tied to your home. Choosing franchise marketing where the affiliate company is much safer and they take full responsibility for product so you don’t have money tied up in inventory and you can take your trusty lap top and go anywhere in the world; well almost!

These steps will get you off to making sound decisions rather than just plunging ahead into something because someone makes it sound all too good to be true. Engage brain, listen to your heart and be very clear you are the one asking questions and need good answers from whom ever you are going to work with. You are just beginning a grand adventure of owning your own business. Make money online – it is the future and the future is now!
